Sony has announced the upcoming release of its Midnight Black Collection for PlayStation 5 accessories, scheduled to launch on February 20, 2025. This collection introduces a sleek, all-black aesthetic to several key peripherals, including the PlayStation Portal remote player, DualSense Edge wireless controller, Pulse Elite wireless headset, and Pulse Explore wireless earbuds.
Each accessory in the Midnight Black Collection features a rich black finish with refined detailing on buttons and accents, such as the PlayStation logo. The design extends to accompanying components like the charging case for the Pulse Explore earbuds, charging hanger for the Pulse Elite headset, and carrying case for the DualSense Edge controller. Notably, the Pulse Elite headset and Pulse Explore earbuds include a felt grey carrying case, adding a touch of contrast to the overall design.
Pre-orders for the Midnight Black Collection will commence on January 16, 2025, at 10 AM local time (10 AM ET in the U.S.) via direct.playstation.com and participating retailers. The accessories are priced as follows:
