Posted on | Updated on

With its stylishly low-key look and compact micro-ATX dimensions, the MK series blends well into any kind of surroundings and is the perfect case for either gaming, office or multimedia PCs. And whatever the application, there is plenty of potential for performance thanks to modern compatibility, installation space for large pieces of hardware, and room for up to eleven fans.

The Sharkoon MK2, MK3, and MK4 RGB Strip are all Micro-ATX form factor cases with support for up to 11 fans and dual-radiator configurations. They can accommodate Mini-ITX, Micro-ATX, and BTF mainboards. Each case features a spacious interior that supports graphics cards up to 41 cm in length, CPU coolers up to 17 cm in height, and PSUs up to 23.5 cm in length. They also have 2x 3.5" HDD slots and 3x 2.5" SSD slots. The front panel ports include TRRS and USB-C.

The Sharkoon MK2 has a stylish, low-key design, the Sharkoon MK3 has an air-permeable front panel for better airflow, and the Sharkoon MK4 RGB Strip features an integrated RGB strip for added visual appeal. All three cases offer modern connectivity options and ample space for large hardware components.

Design and Aesthetics

MK3: Emphasizes a minimalist design with a focus on functionality. Its air-permeable front panel ensures optimal airflow, making it suitable for users who prioritize performance over flashy designs.

MK4 RGB Strip: While maintaining a classic look, this model introduces a subtle RGB strip integrated into the base of the front panel's mesh grille. This addition offers a touch of customizable lighting, appealing to users seeking understated elegance without compromising on performance.

Cooling Capabilities

Both models are engineered to support extensive cooling configurations:

  • Pre-Installed Fans: Each case comes with two 120 mm fans pre-installed—one behind the front panel and another on the rear panel.
  • Fan Support: They can accommodate up to eleven fans, ensuring flexibility for various cooling setups.
  • Radiator Support: Both cases support dual-radiator configurations, allowing for advanced water-cooling solutions.

Hardware Compatibility

Dimensions and Build

MK3: Measures 46.0 x 22.5 x 44.5 cm and weighs 5.1 kg.

  • MK4 RGB Strip: Shares the same dimensions but is slightly heavier at 5.2 kg, likely due to the added RGB components.

Sharkoon's MK3 and MK4 RGB Strip micro-ATX cases offer robust features suitable for both gaming and professional setups.
